Thank you so much for stopping by! Flying Parrot Quilts is the brainchild of designer Sylvia Schaefer. (The name is a play on Flying Geese blocks, combined with my love of parrots.)
With my background in oceanography, I enjoy creating designs that are inspired, both directly and indirectly, by science. I enjoy modern quilts and paper piecing as well.
